How to use AI image upscaling

  1. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
  2. Choose an upscaler: R-ESRGAN 4x+ for photos and paintings, Anime6B for illustrations, SwinIR or DAT for maximum detail.
  3. Set the scale factor between 1 and 2, then click Upscale.
  4. Watch the progress bar, then download the enlarged image.

Limits and questions

Why only 2x?

Upscaling shares the GPU used by inpainting and the members tools. 2x keeps each job under a few seconds; run the tool twice for 4x.

Which upscaler should I pick?

R-ESRGAN 4x+ is the safe default. Anime6B for flat-colour illustrations, SwinIR and DAT for photos with fine textures, Lanczos when you want no AI invention at all.

How long do I wait?

Jobs are queued one at a time on one GPU: usually under ten seconds, more at busy times. One submission per IP every 20 seconds.
