Generate DALL-E style images for free with OpenDalle, an open-source SDXL fine-tune trained to follow prompts closely and produce the clean, illustrative look of DALL-E 3. No account, no API key: type a prompt and get a 1024×1024 image. It is not OpenAI's DALL-E, but an open model that imitates its style.

How to use Open DALL-E

  1. Write a descriptive sentence rather than a keyword list; OpenDalle follows natural language well.
  2. Optionally add a negative prompt for photorealism or to remove text.
  3. Click Run and wait for the queue.
  4. Save the image; for photorealistic results, compare with the SDXL demo.

Limits and questions

Is this the real DALL-E 3?

No. DALL-E 3 is a closed OpenAI model. OpenDalle is an open SDXL-based model whose training targets the same style: strong prompt adherence, bright illustrative rendering.

Can I use the images commercially?

OpenDalle is released under a CreativeML OpenRAIL++ style licence that allows commercial use of outputs; check the model card on Hugging Face for the current terms.

Why is the demo slow?

This demo is hosted by a third party (Hugging Face Space) and embedded here; it can be slow, queued or temporarily unavailable when the host is busy. Nothing to install, no account needed.
